Job functions - Analyse strategic plans and internal documentation to determine the required expert profile for each research initiative. - Identify, contact, and maintain a database of qualified subject matter experts across relevant industries, academia, and government. - Coordinate interviews, surveys, and consultations with experts to obtain primary data. - Consolidate feedback and raw data from the Sociological Researcher into structured deliverables for internal review. - Coordinate the research and media units to ensure that final outputs meet publication standards and strategic objectives. - Attend and participate in thematic conferences, seminars, and networking events related to Indo Latin American cooperation. - Identify new opportunities for departmental growth and propose initiatives to expand the unit’s scope and impact. - Prepare and submit weekly progress reports detailing operational status, milestones achieved, and challenges encountered. - Compile comprehensive final reports upon project completion, synthesising research findings and actionable recommendations. - Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for departmental roles, including the development of position specifications, candidate sourcing, and screening. - Conduct structured interviews and evaluate applicants to select qualified personnel who align with departmental objectives and organisational culture. - Manage the onboarding process for new hires and ensure optimal team composition and capacity to meet fluctuating project demands.
Desirable skills - Established professional network within the Indo Latin American business, diplomatic, or academic communities. - Prior experience or demonstrated interest in subjects pertaining to India, Latin America, or diaspora studies. - Familiarity with sociological research methodologies and public relations processes.
