Healthcare SEO Strategist

Senior-level Qualifications and requirements Healthcare SEO experience is Mandatory The ideal candidate must have direct, verifiable healthcare or medical SEO experience and be able to show campaigns where their work contributed to meaningful improvements in organic visibility, qualified traffic, leads, or business growth. Experience working with U.S. healthcare organizations is strongly preferred. You should have strong knowledge of SEO strategy, technical and on-page SEO, content strategy, local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization, analytics, competitor and search-intent research, and acquiring high-quality backlinks through legitimate outreach and industry-specific opportunities. You should also regularly stay up to date on evolving SEO practices, search engine changes, and emerging strategies. Most importantly, we want a strategist who takes ownership, communicates well, brings proven ideas and strategies to the table, and can independently lead a campaign rather than simply follow an SEO checklist.

Senior-level Job functions This role will work directly with our clinician founder and supporting delivery team to own and fulfill SEO campaigns for healthcare clients. You and the founder will co-lead the initial research and strategy, combining his clinical, industry, patient, and business insights with your proven SEO strategies, experience, and judgment. From there, you will take the lead in driving and fulfilling the campaign. You will be responsible for researching each target client and market, developing SEO priorities, overseeing or executing technical and on-page SEO, guiding content and local SEO opportunities, monitoring performance, and proactively adjusting the campaign based on results. You should also know how to identify and obtain high-quality, relevant backlinks, especially within healthcare, through outreach to healthcare websites, niche publications, industry organizations, professional resources, and other credible opportunities. Although you will lead the day-to-day direction of the campaign, you will also communicate and collaborate with the founder regularly to review findings, discuss opportunities, challenge assumptions, and determine how we can continually maximize the campaign's efforts and results. Success will be measured not simply by completing tasks, but by the quality of your strategy and execution, consistent campaign progress, improvements in organic visibility, and ultimately generating more qualified inquiries and growth for our clients.
